Monday Morning Blues

Is this image reflective of what you will look like on Monday morning?

If so, the first thing to do is to ask yourself “Why?”

If you regularly have Sunday Night Sadness and/or  Monday Morning Blues, then this is not something you should laugh off or just resign yourself to live with. It’s a clear sign that you are unhappy at what you are doing. You need to fix what ails you or move on and find another job, or even better, begin contemplating becoming your own boss.

Step #1 – If you could identify your ideal career, what would it be?

Step #2 – Is this realistic? For example, if you can’t carry a note, then your ideal career is not as Beyonce’s back up singer.

Step #3 – If it’s realistic- great! If it’s not, why not?

Step #4 – What are your options? Spending the next 5, 10, 15+ years hating what you do, should not be one of them.

Step #5 – Begin drafting a plan. You MUST start somewhere. What are you passionate about? What is your dream career?   What are your goals  to move you closer to that dream?

Remember, it’s not enough to have a dream. You MUST also have goals and a bunch of goals without a plan is just a wish list.

Dream BIG. Start small. ACT NOW!
