Motherhood Is Not Where Dreams Go To Die: Why Serena Williams Is A Perfect Example

For starters, congratulations Bianca Andreescu. Good job! With your talent, I know that we will see you on the court again.
Now, congrats to The G.O.A.T- Serena Williams. WORKING MOM EXTRAORDINAIRE. You make us proud!

Motherhood is not where dreams go to die.®

I believe in that statement so much that I had it legally trademarked.

The worse thing a woman can do is put her goals & dreams on the back burner and then subconsciously blame her children for her being unfulfilled.

It’s more often than not a “won’t do” situation, vs. a “can’t do” one.

Work-Life Integration

Is it easy? Of course not. Nothing worth having comes without hard work & sacrifice.

I know first hand & for most of my years as a Mom, I did it as a single mom.

From “being bossed” to becoming my own boss.

It takes planning of course, but so much of it is mindset & the existence of a supportive sister circle, as well. Preferably someone who has already walked the path, as opposed to someone who is learning the ropes & stumbling along beside you.

This is one of the primary reasons why I started my coaching business.

Why Reinvent The Wheel?

Grow using my already learned lessons.
I started it to get women like you beyond the BS excuses & limited belief that has you thinking that you can’t be a great Mom AND follow your dreams.
Oh, yes, & that thing called mom-guilt which is one big dream killer.

Very few things please me more than watching an overwhelmed, doubting Mom, becoming a productive, boss mom-whether working for someone else, or for herself.

A Mom in charge of her own destiny is then capable of providing the best options for her minis. A mom playing the blame and excuses game is usually the one on the sidelines envying and being critical of other’s success. Not cool.

It’s all about giving yourself permission to reconnect with YOU, without disconnecting from your mom life.

Yes, there is life outside of motherhood. Follow your dreams and genuinely encourage your children to follow theirs. Do it unapologetically. Do it Guilt-free, beautiful. Just like Serena!
