If you are currently not someone who is capable of remaining calm in stressful situations, then consider practicing meditation. Alternatively, or additionally, strengthening your ability to incorporate work and life balance will work to your advantage. It’s not wise to bring the stress of business to your home, or vice versa.

Those who dwell too much on the past rarely make very good leaders, as this state of mind actually makes it much more difficult to do the right thing as it relates to the future. You need be forward-thinking if you are to be the best leader you can be, as looking to the future will ensure that you take the best possible action, rather than focusing on what you might have done right or wrong in the past. Bear this in mind and try to develop more of an action-based, forward-thinking attitude as it will make a significant difference in your insight as a leader.

While money does matter, to be committed to servant leadership, embracing the importance of making a positive impact across the board must matter most.
